I have been writing here for a while, and a while back I announced that Detangled would be moving to a new host. Well, that happened, but I still ended up keeping updates at both sites, since I was still receiving more visitors through Detangled @ WordPress.
Now, I have taken a new route, and will be writing at my own personal blog, mGarrett. It has already been up and running for over a week, so feel free to stop by and take a look.
You may recognize some of the early posts, as I took some of my favorites from this blog to add content to the new one.
I will be discussing similar topics as what I covered on Detangled, in addition to design, making money online, and pretty much anything that interests me. That is why I am calling this my new personal blog.
I am still taking time to get everything in place, so pardon any changes in layout or design. Other than that, this will be the primary spot to find me. Of course, you will still find me writing at Profy also, covering the web 2.0 world.
I look forward to seeing you visit!! I welcome any and all feedback.
Over at Profy, I have created a round-up of 7 Digg clones with potential, each of which has a focus that is more specific that the majority of social bookmarking sites available.
These service are useful for web surfers who share an interest in the topic, as well as blog and website owners whose content may be relevant to the specific focus of the service.
Some of the services are fairly new, and therefore, still developing a community and loyal user base. Give the article a read and you may find yourself bookmarking and sharing links somewhere other than Digg… Not that Digg isn’t a great place, it’s just limited in its topic range.

I am currently in the process of moving this blog over to a new host. I would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to start visiting the new blog at:
If you have bookmarked Detangled, please update your bookmarks to reflect this new address. If you have linked to this site, please also update. This has proven to be a somewhat time consuming process for me, so I expect everything to be fully ported over within a week.
For those of you who are subscribed to my feed (the Feedburner feed, not the WordPress.com feed) you should be fine, because I have already updated my Feedburner account to link to the new blog.
By next week, I will no longer be posting here, but on the new blog.
Thank you for being loyal Detangled readers… I look forward to seeing you all visit me at my new location. It will still be the same great Detangled that you know and love
P.S.: All of my posts from here have already moved over, so if you link to a Detangled post, please edit the link (just remove the ‘detangled.wordpress.com’ and replace with ‘detangled.nodblog.com’. The rest of the link (ex: “/07/09/2007/post-name”) should remain the same.
If you have any problems, please contact me and I will provide all the help you need in redirecting to my new blog.

Talk about bad luck. Apparently one unlucky man already managed to break his brand new Apple iPhone in less than 24 hours.
He tried to answer an incoming phone call while the device was plugged in and charging. That is when the short cord pulled the iPhone out of his hand unsuspectingly and it hit the corner of a table before falling to the ground.
The good news is that he walked into his local Apple store with it in his hand, and they gave him a new iPhone completely FREE of charge. I wonder if he told them the story… that’s enough to make anyone sympathetic. Also, I wonder if Apple will be so giving to everyone who breaks theirs.
Apparently, not everyone read Apple & AT&T’s details concerning the purchase of the newly released Apple iPhone.
On the local news here, a story was aired about a local Dallas entrepreneur (the lady seen in the video below) who planned on purchasing $100,000 worth of iPhones at it’s launch. She had big plans to sell them all on eBay. She even paid a kid $800 for the first spot in line to be the first customer through the door.
It’s too bad that the terms are only ONE iPhone per customer. Talk about a waste of time and money… not to mention the fact that she practically paid for someone else’s iPhone!
